Helpdesk

Today, the company has consolidated its presence in the Indian market with offices spanning the length and breadth of the sub-continent.

The need to offer around-the-clock technical assistance and other services prompted GEMS to create, early in its existence, its own internal Call Center / Helpdesk. This Call Center / Helpdesk manages the network of GEMS engineers who are strategically located in over 60 cities dedicated to providing service in over 750 cities and over 4500 Points of Service.

The Helpdesk interfaces between the 250 Field Service Engineers, all GEMS employees, Principal and Clients. GEMS has also introduced an Interactive Voice Response system wherein all Field Service Requests can be lodged in the Helpdesk  with a Toll Free Line and by dedicated software (especially developed for Service Request Registration) this call is transferred on to the mobile phone of the concerned Service  Delivery Manager and from there re-assigned to the nearest Field Service Engineer. On receiving the call for service, the Service Engineer will attend to the request for service, as fast as possible.

Branch Offices and Warehousing

GEMS currently also has 13 state offices, 4 regional offices, 13 spare parts warehouses and plans to expand significantly on these numbers. Such expansion is actually implemented on a daily basis, according to the increasing volume and scope of client requirements. Total employee strength of GEMS to date, amounts to approximately 350 individuals.

In addition, the company has already established a centralized workshop located at NOIDA, and repair facilities have been developed at few state offices to undertake maintenance works, whenever required.

Training

General Energy-Management Systems (P) Ltd. understands and values the regular training of its employees and customers at various levels, in order to keep them abreast with the latest technological trends in the products offered and supplied.

To undertake this activity, GEMS has a full-fledged training center with all the gadgets, at its Corporate Office in Delhi, where regular training sessions are being organized either by in-house experts or by Principals. These sessions involve classroom trainings, product simulation training and on-the-job training.
